It is usually 2-1 days notice. I think the only time that they announced a direct a full week in advance was for the Smash brothers direct.

I suppose that it's a little too early to give up hope then. I'm hoping for something big - a new trailer would be a great way to end the week.

The 21st is on the weekend! lol! I doubt there will be a direct on Sunday. They never do directs on weekend days. So, if they were to do a direct, it would have to be this week, in which I doubt is going to happen anyways as we're already in the middle the week and no direct announcement.

Maybe we'll get one on Monday since it's the closest to the 21st?
