Ahoy!! Hark mah mateys. This is a legend that happened long long ago during the opium wars, a legend to be forged by your own hands.
The EEIC exports opium to China against the wish of ruling dynasties there. After 15% of the population gets addicted to Opium, the Imperial court decides to hire some pirates and attack the EEIC ships and prevent opium from reaching their ports. Those pirates then sell those goods to other *Caribbean or *African or *Javan,Sumatran, Indonesian Pirates and get share the revenue between themselves and the Imperial court. The Imperial court in turn provides them weapons and machineries.

At the age of 10, he once set fire to an Indigo plantation owned by the EEIC and became a fugitive under the charges of arson and treason. His Dad sent him to a Chinese merchant to put EEIC off his track. The boy grew up to be a great sailor and once met a mermaid that gave him the ability to breathe underwater. Emperor Miseng, seeing the boy's seamanship assigned him to raid EEIC ships. He has made acquaintances with various Pirates around the world.
