A Link to the Past 1/2 Magic Meter.

So I am finally at Turtle Rock. having hard times there, but I can make it, if not we have a walkthrough. My question, though pertains to the 1/2 Magic meter. My gauge shows it is full, but when I run empty, what I presume is my 'reserve tank' does not show up. How do I get to use both full magic meters? Any help is appreciated.

The 1/2 magic meter means that you're using half of the magic that you would be using if you didn't have the upgrade.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, there is no reserve tank unless you have your own green/blue potions.
