Nah, ALBW was revealed out of nowhere and it already had its subtitle. Later on we found out it was originally just a project to remake A Link to the Past but instead they made a new game.

It's not even called Breath of the Wild 2, the fan base has just decided to call it that for now. It has no name atm, it has only officially been referred to as "the sequel to Breath of the Wild" so far. I'm sure it will get it's own unique subtitle.

That'd be so lazy, I would be annoyed if it was just that.
