I think if you analyze things calmly you should see that there isn't really any option but to lynch you today. That doesn't mean that in the event that you're town that your reads aren't useful, and there's no use getting emotional over something like this. I don't think the town is misplaying...

if any town player was responsible for irvine surviving last night i assume they'd say as much before we lynched him.

for the time being irvine is the obvious lynch today though, imo.

it might be a good idea for SMS to go on into more detail about what irvine lied about. It gives SMS less wiggle room to say he misinterpreted something in the event that irvine flips town.
