The reason I like OOT's Hyrule Field so much is because it's performed like a rondo (TP also does this) and the section of the piece that plays is random, so you can end up with really great aesthetics like the semifinal section playing during sunset or the first two sections playing while...
it sounds like you don't like more peaceful relaxed pieces generally, which is okay because we all have different tastes in music
that's why I recommended listening to it in 6/8 time, because it makes it sound a little faster paced and a bit syncopated
(normally it would be like, 1+2+3+ 1+2+3+...
if you think kakariko is bland, try listening to it as though it were in 6/8 and not 3/4, that might pep it up for you a bit
also listen to the guitar cover from a link between worlds, so lovely

It depends what mood I'm in. I have way too much fun playing hyrule field on the piano because it's a very involved piece with a lot of movement, so I like it a lot
