The Switch is doing great right now. The Wii was possibly the most undersupplied console ever and it did fine. I think this thread title has already been proven wrong with the Switch being the fastest selling Nintendo console to date.

But Splatoon helped the Wii U gain a little bit of life. I don't see why it can't tide the Switch over until the holidays when we get Mario and probably XC2.

You did. I mentioned DQ and you said "none of those are system sellers". And no, it is unfair because FE was recently rebooted. Its popularity has gone way up in the west. We will see how the console version goes buy handhelds weren't selling well either until Awakening. A party? Bruh...

@Lozjam TP came out a few weeks later on the GC and the Wii had one of the greatest launches ever because of the hype. I don't think the difference in Switch and Wii U Zelda sales will be as stark as TP Wii vs GCN.

FE has had a massive resurgence. Its unfair to compare Radiant Dawn. You also said DQ isn't a system seller.

Only 13m people own a Wii U. The Switch is already sold out in my city with pre orders, in fact they sold out day 1. Tons of comments I saw on botw videos were about how they are getting the Switch for it even lots of people who don't have a Nintendo console. I think BotW will still help sell...

What are all of these dual releases? FEW which is new 3ds only (a console most people don't have)? FE Switch exclusive is coming, plus Mario, Zelda, Splatoon, DQ. What's the issue?
