Why would they remake something they just remade a few years ago?

Yea, MC sprites with a step forward would be good. Take a look at my avy, you see Valoo at a more advanced version of MC. It follows the same pallete and MC-graphic laws, but it looks slightly nicer. ALttP is to FSA, as MC is to the Needed Game.

I kind of want a minish cap styled game with a FSA-like theme/story. Especialy since how 2D games work on the 3DS. I have not experiencedit myself, but I think at E3, they put LA on the 3DS and it was soposed to be really good. Not sure if that is true. It worked with SMB, why not with something...
