Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

That's true, but Toon Link looks fairly young; I think a cutoff number would be 12 (I WOULD say 10, since that's the age of the Hero of Hyrule in the original LoZ and he looks older than Tink, but the amiibo gives a fair description.)

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

Yes. However, some people believe that the age of 12 being the coming of age is just due to distortion of the legend of the Hero of Time as it was passed down.

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

The Toon Link amiibo description stated he was 12, and it says in game Link got the Hero's Tunic when he was at the coming of age.

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

In WW, Link gets the Hero's Clothes when he is the age as the Hero of Time when he started his adventure. However, many different sources state he is 12, which is another large problem, as it basically states Young Link is 12 as well.

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

We're talking about Ocarina of Time. These statements, were taken from Ocarina of Time guides, OoT 3D Iwata Asks, and Wind Waker. And when I said "Links," I meant actual links to show your evidence. I didn't think it was that confusing, to be honest.

    Links? Anything confirming this please?

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

Yes, but in an Iwata Asks, he also stated Link was 9. He himself has given different ages as well.

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

Everything on the timeline, in the manuals, or something specifically stated in an interview or just a random tweet or statement by the creators is canon. anything that doesn't fit in the above categories isn't canon. There's nothing to argue the Tingle games are canon, and there's nothing...

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

The Tingle games are also an official product of Nintendo, but they aren't canon; your point? Not to mention, that arrow pointing to Calatia is most likely where the normal Hyrule seen in other games is located.

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

To be fair, most of Zelda I and II's lore has been retconned, and Shigeru literally says the most backwards ass things after officially establishing something, like when he claimed Young Link was 7-8 and "Adult Link" was 14-15

Origins of the Hero of Hyrule? (NES Link)

    But it's not canon.
