After over 25 years, Ash's Pokémon journey has come to an end today. Lots of amazing memories with him and Pikachu. I hope the new protagonists can become as iconic for today's children.- A Link In Time

That is crazy to me. I didn't think the anime would ever move on from Ash. But it makes sense given that there is nothing left for his character to accomplish. It looks like they're going with a female protagonist next. I think her design looks excellent, and I hope she'll become as iconic...- A Link In Time
