I have recently bought an N64 and a SNES and I'm working to replay every Zelda game on their original consoles instead of emulators or virtual console. I have bought Ocarina Of Time, Majoras Mask and A Link To The Past. I'm going to buy a NES too and buy the first game and maybe even try my luck...
I love side quests in Zelda. They are some of my favorite things to do because its a little break from the story. I hope they make skyrim quality sidequests in Zelda Wii U.
I played about 1/3 through and then kinda stopped but I started again about a year later when I understood it more ( I was like 5 or 6). You should definitely finish LInks awakening.
They did something like that with a ghost ship in phantom hourglass. It wasnt too long but, youre right. They should make a really cool dungeon out of it and it can be moving around and you could be sliding and stuff like that.
Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are coming to the 3DS and all i have to say is they are SO fun. They were the second and third Zelda games I played and I never even knew about the password thing until the very end when i was like "Oh that's what that thing on the menu is for!" and I had so...
I remember when i played the Wind Waker the part where you can jump off the windmill onto the picto box shops balcony and go in the room with the treasure and stuff. They should put in more little quirks like that.
Some places are just a complete wast of space. they could easily make bomb isle and mother and child isles towns. Instead of just a guy with a bunch of stuff just sitting on an empty island. (if hes there it would make sense for him to actually be selling to someone and have a shop in a town.)
yeah, same for me when I first played Links Awakening. I pretty much I had no idea why I was killing these monsters but I knew if I didn't they'd kill me so i ended up almost beating it, getting frustrated, then retrying about a year later and understanding what was going on and beating it finally.
They should make the sea realistic in the way that the waves would crash on the boat and if you were going fast enough you would fly off of a wave and slam into the next one. The waves would be more varied and could get really big and really gentle with nice lapping sounds and stuff. Just an...
I was just looking through my Hyrule Historia at the Stove Pipe Island sketches and I have to say it looks like it could be really awesome. There was also this one that wasn't used in phantom hourglass with a ton of stuff all over it that would get bigger and bigger as it Link progressed through...
I really liked twilight princess. It was definitely one of my favorites, but they could have made it way better. They should make a Twilight Princess HD.
I hope they don't go too crazy with all the new Gamepad features. Some of them could be great but I really don't feel like using the six axis motion to aim the bow. Instead they could add a little target on the screen so it would be easier or maybe a little notch in the bow.
The first Zelda game I ever played was Link's Awakening. It was also the first video game I ever played, It's still one of my favorite games ever. I guess you can see this in my signature too though.
Maybe there could be little shoe shiners and tailors throughout the games cities or towns as a little side thing to make the game feel more alive and so you could repair your gear.
I agree with Ganonking that they should orchestrate the music, but they should make sure it doesn't sound too different just more realistic and refined. HD sound quality would be nice.
I hope they don't make the bow have to be used with the six axis motion controls. They could also add some filler islands with little side quests and stuff, they should a lot more side quests because its a way of putting in additional content keeping it optional at the same time. Another...
A good way they could make the cannon work while sailing would be to utilize the Gamepad phantom hourglass style and tap to shoot when the cannon is selected.
I would personally like a return of Kokiri forest but all the houses are tree houses and its in a misty forest not a grove. The inhabitants could look like wood elves and nimbly dash through the trees or something like that. The hookshot, biggoron's sword, and the Bow were always my favorite...
I personally would like an option to fire the cannon while using the sail and the ability to set beacons that you can see on the ocean to make treasure or island finding easier. It would also be nice to add the stove pipe island and gc island. This is almost impossible to wish for but it would...
I have...
-a fully metal master sword replica
-triforce sweatshirt
-evolution of link tee shirt
-Hyrule Historia
-every game including four swords adventures
-a ton of posters (phantom hourglass, twilight princess, wind waker, history of zelda, symphony of the goddesses, ocarina of time...
I had actually not heard this theory until now. I agree with many of you that the goddesses flooded it to keep Hyrule a secret and the Zora just swimming around the castle wouldn't really help keep it a secret. Somebody was bound to find it out from them and then the goddesses efforts would have...
More Side quests
I think they should really work in-depth on getting some great side quests. Side quests were always really fun for me (if not my favorite thing about some games) because you could kinda take a break from the big serious objective and trade some junk or stack pumpkins. I think...
Hot chocolate, coffee, or tea with a nice fire and maybe a movie or book. (I also wouldn't mind some of grandma's soup. (anybody get my Wind Waker reference.))
