Noooo...Wind Waker is by far the best plot twist of the entire Zelda series. It was the first game to take place in a time period after Hyrule. Besides, at least Wind Waker has Ganondorf in it.
Is it just me, or are there others who think that Skyward Sword is WAY overrated? I mean, it completely demolished the gameplay of the Zelda franchise. Starting off with 6 hearts, stamina meter, and having shield durability makes me ashamed to even call it a Zelda game. But enough from me, what...
Yeah, it's been a while since I've been on Zelda Dungeon so I decided to post a thread that's related to the very first thread I created, which was about the best companion in the series. Specifically Navi. Now, Navi's been known as the annoying demon-spawn from the depths of Hell, but I...
I had just recently got Super Smash Bros Brawl (which I suck at) and two of my favorite characters to play as is Sheik (not Zelda, SHEIK) and Toon Link. It came to my attention that the soon to come WiiU will most likely bring in yet another SSB game. I was thinking that it would be awesome if...
I have to admit, I love the two oracle games. It's a whole lot bigger experience from a handheld Zelda game than Link's Awakening could ever achieve. You've got two different worlds, the past and present, in Oracle of Ages and a way to change the seasons in Oracle of Seasons. Even the goddess...
Alright, I know there's already been several threads about this topic, but it's been a while since I got on ZD. So, anyway my favorite boss battle has got to be that fossil-thing in Twilight Princess, because I rather enjoyed smacking into it with my little ancient hoverboard. Not many Zelda...
You know, considering how I was 6 at the time I first played The Wind Waker, I didn't know how to use L-targeting. Try taking down Gohdan when you know nothing on L-targeting. It was hard as hell, but I did it.
My brother got The Wind Waker for his 16th birthday, and being the nice older brother he was (don't get me wrong. He still bugs me at times), he made a game with my name on it. Not only was The Wind Waker my first Zelda game, it was the first video game I ever played, and I was hooked for life...
Darknuts from Wind Waker. I had some weird joy whenever I cut off their armor, and it's hilarious watching them turn from 6-foot knights to a really fat Martial Arts master. And beating them up comes with a reward of Knight's Crests, which can be sold for lotsa Rupees.
Yeah... I give up on trying to guess if Japanese characters are male or female. I spent half of the time while I was reading Naruto thinking Deidara was a woman, and boy, was I in for a shock!
My absolute favorite race in the entire Zelda history has got to be the Sheikahs. I mean, they're like the Hylian ninjas, with their disappearing jutsu (NOW I'm getting this mixed up with Naruto) and epicness. I thought they were just something Nintendo wanted to make disappear, and now they're...
Speaking of Beedle's "Thank you!" noise, I've. Always wondered why it seems to be the only English spoken in any of the Zelda games. Was it because it was added on in the English version, or has it always been there?
Heyyyy, I always thought you worshiped Sheik!
Anyway, I'd agree with the stupid owl, especially on top of Death Mountain when he seems to be mocking link.
"ooh, such a smart lad for making it up here! lets see you do another smart move!"
I should've hit him with my slingshot
The Person Behind the Hero's Shade
It's been a while since I've been on Zelda Dungeon, and there's a question I've been dieing to know. The Hero's Spirit, or the Hero's Shade, is your mentor in the ways of the sword. But the question is, who is he? What was he in life? I have two theories. One...
ARE PEOPLE IGNORING ME?! Seriously folks, I need that siggie and avatar really badly. Please, I beg of you! I'll give the one who does it a free toaster or something, just somebody do it!
Epona the Mighty, while washing herself in the Faron Pond, twitches her ears as she hears a great whistle break the silence of the once-peaceful forest. Does she let something like that happen? No sir! Using her legendary Hooves of Painful Crunching, she sped up using all 5 carrots and attempted...
I knew before-hand about the Wallmasters in Ocarina of Time, but in The Wind Waker, my first Zelda game, the Floormasters were the only kind there, and weren't as scary as something like, a SCREAMING REDEAD!
*shudder* I still have nightmares about that...
Umm, Forest Temple, duh! I loved the music and I enjoyed all the different puzzles it had. I also liked the spooky, out-of-this-world feeling with the winding pathways and the possesed picture frames.
Well, I'm still saving up money to buy the game, but I heared a rumor about how Navi's gonna pester you every 30 minutes to turn your 3D effect off. Just the sound of that makes me wanna use Navi as fishing bait!
Wow, no offense but Zelda 2 is CRAZY hard for me!
Anyway, I was hoping you had Link's Awakening up there, but since it's just the (S)NES games, Ima go with A Link to the Past. They had like, 20 different items in the game!
I've been wanting to post this thread for a while now, but I kept forgetting. But the time has come!
Have you ever noticed how the different zelda characters relate? I'm not talking about something like Falbi the drag queen and Fyer, I'm talkin' about people from entirely different time...
My gawd, THAT STUPID GORON DANCING GAME ON ORACLE OF AGES!!!!!!!!!!! I have it on emulator, which allows you to save at the exact spot you were on, but I had to load like, 40 times to do that stupid game! I still don't get it...
When I was in the City in the Sky, I accidentaly bumped into a pole while doing the roll attack, and I fell off the city. So I was falling out of the sky with my head up my a$$. It was funny :P.
I'd say the same, since he constantly crawled over you, but it isn't the hardest boss.
Malladus, Malladus, Malladus, Malladus, Malladus! My hands were sweating, my blood pressure was rising, all because of that stupid boss.
The King of Hyrule drowned with Hyrule, so I'd choose that.
Actually, my fav death scene with Link is in the Goron Mines when he falls into the lava and makes this painful shriek/moan, complete with his hand rising up for any help. It reminds me of in Episode III of Star Wars when Anekin gets...
Awsome? How about FUSTRATING! When getting close it means that you can't outrun them and you die at only one hit. I went through Phantom Hourglass without dieing once, and you won't believe how many timesI died on Spirit Tracks!
*smirk* I'm gonna have to say the Twilight Princess Link because I kinda got a crush on him <3. Besides, he makes the funniest of expressions, like when Sera's cat steals his fish:
Ya catchin' flies, Link?
You know, I always wondered about Adult Link from Ocarina of Time. His nose is WAY...
Zelda Dungeon is my MAN when it comes to that. Twice, while I was playing Twilight Princess, I finally made it to the Boss room when I forgot to find the Boss Key :(. But ma bud, Zelda Dungeon is always there for me :).
I tell you, there's more to it than that. I swear, every freakin' time I casually whistle the Song of Storms, it rain for a week. It's a good way to get out of weeding my Mom's garden :P.
It's kinda creepy how it appears in the dollar bill. Creepy but awsome!
I'm not looking for an answer like "there's no such thing as a Goron". I'm looking for something like "Link's hat never falls off when he's upside down" kinda thing.
It's true that Ganon was lurking behind the shadows of other villans, but your theory makes a whole lot of sense. I mean, why haven't the Gods taken away the Triforce of Power when it is far too dangerous in his hands?
It actually was a bit chalenging to beat Minish Cap for me. Even on a Game Boy emulator, where you can save at the exact place you were in, I found that the bosses were quite difficult. Believe it or not, I thought the bosses in Twilight Princess were very easy, especialy Zant.
I agree. Besides, it's annoying when either you or the statue runs into a wall. It would've been better if it were like the Command Melody in The Wind Waker. It was fun being a statue!
Why don't the blocks tip over when you push them neer the edge? How come theres a Goron that can breathe underwater? Why doesn't Ganondorf just DIE? These questions and many more will be debated for eturnity but it'll never be truely uncovered.
....No, I don't agree with you. The Oracle games were more seperate from the other Zelda games, not a collage of many. It may take place 1000 years before or after the series, we'll never know.
Hey, can anyone make me an avatar with Byrne's face on it? Oh, and can you also make one with this picture and then the words "You should have never left the tower, Byrne"in front?
