This was probably the most interesting non-E3 Direct I've seen in years. The Metroid Prime Remaster had me in shock, Splatoon DLC was expected but always welcome, Zelda never fails to deliver, and NSO continues to improve the game selection. Count me in.
Splatoon 3 took me by EXTREME surprise. I openly denied the possibility of there being another game in the series until the next system, and I've never been more happy to be wrong.
Skyward Sword HD has me hyped, obviously. I probably won't get the Joy Con though. I hope the other 3D Zelda...
This direct didn't really appeal to me personally, but that's okay. There was just heaps and heaps of games that I'm not particularly interested in, or probably won't commit to buying. I think Smash will be the only game I buy for the rest of the year. I'll be paying for Nintendo Switch Online...
Hasn't there been a been a major Direct in January pretty much every year since they've started them? I'd be extremely surprised if there wasn't one next month. I'm honestly not sure what I expect to be announced then.
There's going to be a Nintendo Direct in a couple of days, and it's going to focus mainly on Arms and Splatoon 2.

I'm totally psyched for Splatoon 2 news. Arms has a lot to prove. At the very least, we should be getting release...
I always watch the European presentations when available to get the most relevant information for me, I don't care about humour in these. While it can make the Directs more appealing, it's mostly a waste of time.
Please attempt to keep this thread on topic, it should be relevant towards a Nintendo Direct.
I think this presentation was average. The new Zelda amiibo are fine, I'll wait to see what they do in Breath of the Wild before considering buying them. The Hyrule Warriors DLC looks fun, although I...
It comes out this weekend here and in Europe. I wouldn't be surprised if it still shows up in your version of the Direct, trying to get more people interested.
This is true, and I wish it applied more to Nintendo's own Virtual Console games. I agree with what you said at the end there. It's not like people could exploit the system or anything as long as they use NNIDs to confirm you own it.
This Direct was okay to me. Fair amount of stuff I don't care about, and a few notable things. I wasn't expecting Zelda Wii U at all. They're saving it for E3 and going to do a huge blowout.
Kirby: Planet Robobot seems interesting. I'm yet to even get Triple Deluxe which I would rather play...
I love seeing this thread pop up. Looking forward to some surprises. :)
Why didn't they put the content from the Pokemon Direct in this one if it was only going to be five minutes long?
I liked this Direct, certainly more than E3. Star Fox Zero looks better than before, at the very least.
As a Zelda fan, I'm pleased with Twilight Princess HD, free update for Tri Force Heroes and the acknowledgement that Zelda Wii U this exists. Hyrule Warriors Legends still seems inferior to...
There is almost always a European-centred Direct in which Satoru Shibata (President of Nintendo of Europe) stars in-part that airs the same time as the Japanese/American equivalent. I assure you the Nintendo of Australia news page (http://www.nintendo.com.au/news) will update shortly with the...
Nintendo Direct incoming, as confirmed on Nintendo of America's Twitter.
https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/664095209534435328
The time it begins is a bit under 54 hours from now (two days plus six hours; figure it out for your timezone). After several months without a Nintendo...
The ballot ends in October. It was unclear whether they may look at results sooner and begin production of a character in the near future, or they'll wait until October and begin working on them then. Either way, I'm positive the results will be rather secretive and we won't know the...
For clarity, the Direct begins in roughly 31 and a half hours from now. For me, in Australian Eastern Daylight Time, it starts at 9am on the 2nd of April, which is Thursday morning.
Nintendo of America confirmed a Nintendo Direct for April 1st at 3pm PT. https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/582890134846197760
Hype! It's been a while since the last one, let's see what's on offer.
Alrighty, the Direct begins in half an hour. I hope you're all ready.
Go to smashbros.com and follow the links to view. We're currently sitting at the longest time without a character reveal. Let's hope for the best. And Palutena Temple footage.
There is no stopping the Hype Train. ALL ABOARD!
8th April at 3pm Pacific / 6pm Eastern / 11pm UK, midnight (9th April) in mainland Europe and 8am AEST (9th April) in Australia.
Very good Nintendo Direct. Smash Brothers right off the bat was surprising. It would have been better if it didn't transition through the logo (:ssb:), in order to get the audience thinking about what the lord is going on, like the Rosalina trailer.
Little Mac was on a lot of people's lists...
I wonder which Smash Brothers veteran will be announced this time. Sakurai has acted funky tonight.
Before Luigi was confirmed, the pic of the day was a hilariously boring image of Oilmar and Kirby standing idle. Tonight, we have a hilariously boring image of Olimar and the Wii Fit Trainer...
Looking forward. Though it starts at midnight and I have a three hour exam as well as my schools formal the next day, I wouldn't miss it for the world.
