Given that Nintendo has partnered with Universal, a Zelda series would likely be produced by Illumination. I say nay, but it's possible I'm just wrong. The first go-around of Zelda cartoons was at least fun.
Lame. Not as lame as I'd figured but still lame. Illumination's CG is boring, their animation is lazy, they feel cheap and overproduced all at the same time. This movie looks like their best work yet visually and it still smells of Illumination. Dispise Jack Black. He's not the absolute worst...

My uncle Gereshigu Motomiya works for Nintendo and he says we'll get a full Breath of the wild 2 trailer, and announcement for a Zelda themed switch OLED, and the announcement of a brand new handheld that only plays the Wario Land games. Big hype my dungeon dwellers!
But, uh...BotW 2 will come out regardless of whether or not we have a Nintendo direct so I'm not worried. The hype machine that was the direct back in the day was awesome and I miss them but it's not going to affect BotW 2 so I'm good. Every time Nintendo takes forever to release a Zelda game...
