Hey, can you answer this riddle?

Bob, Cathrine, and Tom lived in an apartment together. One night Bob went out to the movies and left Cathrine and Tom home alone. When Bob came back he found Cathrine dead and lying on broken glass. No one else came into the house when Bob was away so it must have been Tom that killed her, but Tom was never convicted of murder. Why?

Actually TWW is the hardest game I've beaten, because I'm a casual gamer. It had a medium gaming experience. Harder than TP and about the same difficulty of TMC(more or less). Plus I was just mentioning that TWW was my favorite game, which I is now TMC. I'll just change TP to dark if nobody finds it scary.
