It depends which beach you go to. Most are as beautiful as that, dogs are common and kangaroos are probably not going to be on a beach often What's it like in the USA?

Pretty much yeah Elizabeth II is the present Sovereign and her heir apparent is her eldest son, Charles, Prince of Wales. Next in line is Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, the Prince of Wales's eldest son. (Source: Succession to the British throne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). I'm pretty sure Charles is next in line but people seem to not like him (not sure why).

Europeans first discovered Australia in the 1770's, they sent their convicts (prisoners) here as their jails were full and built a society. The native people were not given any respect which is a terrible part of our history (kinda like slavery in America but instead children were taken from their parents (the "stolen generation") and raised to live like the Europeans). The government wanted to "breed the black out" of the population, it disgusts me that people thought like this.
We have never really left the Queen's rule. Neither has Canada, New Zealand and many other countries.
When she dies her eldest son will become King.

I've never heard of this great seal before, I wasn't taught about it either.

Technically she is the Queen of our country, she has the power to fire our Prime Minister (and has done so once before). But she hardly does anything nowadays, the Prime Minister (currently Julia Gillard) has more impact. We became a country in 1901 and had our first Prime Minister (Sir Edmond Barton) then, so we are still quite a "young" country. If we became a republic and got a President instead not much would change, the Queen probably doesn't have long left to live now, she is getting old...
