AH! I hated this game too! The first time I played it I didn't make it through any rings and I fell off of the platform entirely... :/ After awhile I got the trick for the rings down; just take your time and tilt the remote gently. Sometimes, the rings will all line up and I didn't even worry...

I've played through the game twice, and the first time I picked the blue tunic, second I picked the red. I couldn't really tell much of a difference since my gameboy is so old the color doesn't show up well anyway...but I do think the blue tunic would make more sense, considering you already...

I think its funny that nearly every Zelda player just has this instinct to roll. I've never met somebody who didn't roll everywhere (including me)...anything to be faster, I guess! Excuse me while I go try that backwards walking thing...

Personally, I do find Majora's Mask better than Ocarina. I think it had a more developed storyline and crazy good character growth. The dungeons were sort of a step up from Ocarina--even if there were only four (too short...). But they are both great games and deserve to be recognized as such :)

Twilight Princess was very good, I thought. It holds special meaning to me because my cousin and I used to spend hours playing it together, and we really bonded (cheesy, I know). I just remember freaking out because I though I missed an item. Up until then, the items go around your circle in order as you get them...but that top circle was empty and I was so sure I had missed something! Ah, well, I am pretty paranoid... Anyway, I do think the bow was received late...

I thought it was a pretty cool concept; like many have mentioned before, it made the game pretty easy so I don't really think it was necessary. This time through I'm going to try without it...unless necessary.
