they're like held hostage by fontworks, cuz fonts with full kanji support are hella tedious to design, but you can still type in the text fields for previews and stuff
(i probably could find a way to rip the preview as a font since it's stored as a webfont but i havent decided if im that dedicated tbh)
fontworks is a huge resource for japanese game devs though so like browsing this site is full of many familiar faces. they recently put up Reggae and RocknRoll (both used in the Wind Waker) up on google fonts for free, though, so fingers crossed they gradually make more availalbe without a license.
