Subject: Character

We say goodbye to the fellow, for he's now gone away
He learned a trick to get to the golden way.
He always knew a good consonance.
Too bad he couldn't play one for his final dance.

This should be easy.

The first two lines make me think of King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule of WW.
However, the third line has me thoroughly confused.

Well Xin, if you know what the word "consonance" means, then you'll find this riddle is easy.

Riding Epona around Hyrule!
Ummm... I am very confused... could we have a hint like which game this character is from?

I'm gonna check my dictionary... Do you mean consonance as compatibility or recurrence of musical notes?
