A Link to the Past What would you name the maidens?

I think it's disappointing that the maidens in A Link to the Past don't have names, other than Zelda. I mean, she is a main character, but the other maidens richen the world too. Maybe we can convince Nintendo to give them names? What would be some fitting names for these young ladies?

I can see why they weren't named since they're not really characters, just people to save that give you a couple sentences of exposition and that's it, they weren't even named in FSA either

Well, the maidens are mentioned on page 8 of the game's instruction booklet (under "Your Quest As The Legendary Hero").

you get what I mean, they're more or less glorified NPCs, plus the story in the game didn't really necessitate them having names

I agree. It's kinda lame.

In A Link to the Past, the Seven Maidens, the descendants of the Seven Wise Men, are vanishing one by one. Princess Zelda is the last to remain when she calls out into the night for a Hero's help.

But Mineru, Broca island, Polymus mountain, Impaz, and Sonia didn't exist in the time that ALttP is set. Impaz is in a whole other timeline, even. It wouldn't work with how the Zelda universe is currently set up.
