Breath of the Wild Timeline: Where is the game going to go?

Yes but she had already been an imp before and made that way by Zant. In HW she does not ride wolf link but a twilight wolf, indicating she had ridden link before when she was previously an imp.

The layouts of Hyrule change from game to game also so not necessarily the worst problem.

They could have made it canon if they wanted and it would make more sense than either ALBW or TFH.
What is the problem with ALBW?

The Triforce's location at the end of aLttP/beggining of OoX don't match up at all with where they were at the beginning of ALBW. Also, the 7 sages are descendants of the wise men, even though one of them is clearly a Zora.
I don't see why they couldn't move the Triforce
As for the zora thing, one of those wise men was into some weird stuff ;)

It states in ALBW that the Triforce split and Wisdom and Courage went back to their respective owners while Power remained with Ganondorf, which we know didn't happen, because the Triforce is still present in Hyrule Castle at the beginning of OoX which is/are sequel(s) to aLttP

The only thing I could think of is after OoX. Link was away during LA, and after that I'm not sure. The only thing I could even think of is either the Triforce was split for security reasons or some evil guy somehow got to the Triforce and it split, but I don't know, I need to re-read some things.

Before/after SS because art + tech, or somewhere in the Child timeline because implied connections and I love TP too much for my own good.

It couldn't be before OoT for a number of reasons beyond Ganon. Ganon could easily be retconned because we all know Nintendo love doing that. The fact that the Master Sword exists and the key factor, the Temple of Time exists and it's ruins. The Temple of Time was built during the Era of Chaos and was only opened again in Ocarina of Time. So it's like basically impossible for it to go before.

The fact that the Master Sword exists
How does this prove anything? The Master Sword already existed prior to SS when the Goddess used it and her Hero tempered it (unless you believe the manga was non canon which is a totally respectable response.) If anything, its the fact the Master Sword is rusted that prevents it from being prior to OoT (however, one could also use the argument that it could be retconned, like you just used)

It don't think it will be before SS as this is legend of Zelda not legend of Hylia. I don't think they would make this game Zeldaless and the first Zelda existed in Skyward Sword so the game would take place afterwards.

There is also the existence of Ganon who came after Demise was destroyed.

The reasons this isn't before OOT are quite numerous but I'll list just a few:

Ganon is in his beast form. They could retcon it in that there was a Ganon before the Ganondorf of OOT but the presence of koroks makes this placement even more unlikely as they evolved from the Kokiri which existed in human form in OOT. There is also the ruined temple of time, and what appears to be the ruins of castle town as well, similar to the design of that in OOT, suggesting this takes place after.

The Master Sword was first forged in Skyward Sword, so it's visual appearance (it's defining hilt) means it's post Skyward Sword. And the Master Sword was sealed behind the Door of Time during the Era of Chaos, so it couldn't have been used inbetween. Plus the Temple of Time is the main factor. It was built during the Era of Chaos and it wasn't opened again until Link pulled the Master Sword in Ocarina. So there's literally no logical explanation that the Temple of Time would be in ruins before OoT.

But in the Skyward Sword manga in Hyrule Historia,we clearly see that it was used by the Goddess Hylia (and later the original Link, who reforged it from a broadsword into the arming sword that it is now), meaning that it clearly existed before then. I'm not disagreeing that it can't take place before OoT; I'm just saying the Master Sword was definitely a thing at the time prior to SS. It's likely the Goddess Sword is just the Master Sword after it lost its power from being sealed on Skyloft (or it even intentionally had the power removed by Hylia so she could test the Hero even further than she did)

I don't use the Manga as canon, sorry.
