"M-Mr. Sakurai! Th-there's a big problem!" screamed a worker.

Masahiro Sakurai turned to face the worker. "What is the issue?" he asked.

"W-Well...we've run out of original characters!" the worker exclaimed.

"You know what we must do, then, don't you?" questioned Sakurai.

"N-No, not that, anything but that, Mr. Sakurai, sir!" the worker said in fear.

"Yes, that," Sakurai chuckled to himself, "we must add clones!!!!"

Let the game begin.

Rules:
1. All day periods will be 3 days, aside from day 1, which will be approximately 2 and a half days. An extension will be considered on a case by case basis, but likely will not be granted.
2. All night periods will be 1 day with no exceptions, barring an unusual problem.
3. If I am unable to make a post immediately, the deadlines will still have to be followed.
4. You may attack once per day period, unless otherwise specified. You can attack by typing Attack: Username NOTE: You cannot attack yourself.
5. You must bold your attacks, or they will not be counted.
6. I will include the damage dealt by each individual during each "vote count", and will also include the total damage they've taken in both the vote count and in the day/night posts.
7. Role claiming is allowed, but no nameclaiming.
8. You can state the defense and damage parameters your character has if you please.
9. Do not edit posts.
10. No night posting at all.
11. Keep spam to a minimum (all post-death posts are considered spam).
12. No posting information after your death.
13. You cannot use outside information within the game (example: who is online at a given time)
14. You must post at least once each day period, preferably much more. There will be some leniency but you must give an explicit reason as to why you will be unable to participate in a given day.
15. Any of these rules being broken will result in either a replacement or a mod-kill, depending on the severity.
16. Have fun!

I'd recommend subscribing to this thread, by the way.

Replacements:

The day ends on Monday, June 27th, at 12:00 AM Mountain Time.

Oh, and one more tip:
You should be somewhat conservative with your attacks--remember, someone dies when they get hit enough, a death does not end the day.

Ok so it's day one.
Now I saw people talking about RVS on day one this game. Id like to remind everyone that this isn't possible. So we have to be inventors and find our way through the game. How do we deal with day 1 then? Tbh I have no clue

I do suggest everyone read the first attempt at this set up. They tried RVS but I don't feel like this was a good plan. Voting doesn't kill anyone so it doesnt provide pressure needed. I think evening out the attacks and spreading them (As Jamie suggested to the players in the game) would be a good idea.

Okay, so spreading out our attacks seems to be the best way to go about day one. So should we each pick a different person and attack? Or spread it out among only certain number of people. The problem with that is scum could be hiding in the groups of players we don't attack. I think having every player attack a different player may be for the best. Thoughts?

I think we should spread it out amongst all the players and not a group. Mafia doesn't have 100% hit power. This target may live, as shown in the first game. Having a player with too much attack on them would make them most likey be a Mafia kill.

Thanks for the link! Completely forgot this game was a sequel, and reading the original one really helped out in fully understanding how the game works. I suggest anybody who's still slightly confused read that thread. It's only 10 pages, guys. :)

Anyway, to expand on what you're saying, just wanted to highlight a word of advice Jamie gave the players in the first game:

Jamie said:
I would like to point out that it does take multiple attacks to kill someone. In the end game, if there is say, a mafia member with no damage on them it would take multiple days to kill them if there were only a few townies, so playing overly conservatively is not a good idea.

So I guess this means that it's pretty risky to leave anybody at 0% damage as we get further into the game, unless they're confirmed townie (which nobody is at this point). This goes along with what's been suggested so far, that everyone attacks a different player. Having everybody attack one person to the point of them surpassing their defense, idk if that would be productive at this point.

Due to a player asking me, I must clarify:
You cannot attack yourself in this setup.
