After some discussion, suspicion began to pool around a particular aquatic creature with 10 legs. The creature thrashed cynically, chafing against the allegations, but the amassed crowd jeered at them until someone began to cut off the squid's legs.
As the squid lay dying, three of it's legs began to grow into the form of people. But not just any people - spiky-haired anime boys, the most powerful force on the planet. And they, too, were dying. Sora, Cecil and Erdrick... Dead on the side of the road, and the town was back to square one.
