[ This is the thread for roleplaying only. Feel free to start wherever in Hyrule you want, we will all be meeting up eventually.]

Keiran stood against a shaded wall of a building in Kakariko Village. The Gerudo warrior inspected her scimitar blades, which she was given after completing her training in the arts of Gerudo stealth and swordplay. Before reminiscing too much about her childhood, she sheathed the blades and began heading towards the Potion Shop to stock up on supplies, and maybe gather more information on what's happening in Hyrule.

"...and here they are!" Jesei presented a trio of hogtied shoplifters to a young woman who seemed to be the shopkeeper. A throng of people huddled around the scene, the crowd silent yet excited by what the young man was to do next.

"I wouldn't expect any more trouble from these guys, ma'am! They're bound to know now to never steal from honest folk, especially ones as beautiful as yourself!" he winked. As the shopkeeper blushed, the crowd erupted into cheers as Jesei began to stroll away from the scene, authorities in tow to detain the offenders. As he walked away, he hopped on the nearest carriage leaving town. Paying the driver a medium sum of rupees, he made his request:

"Kakariko, please," he spoke calmly. His show was done. The Gerudo Desert in recent times had become a hub for small towns of different races given the affairs in the Hyrule mainland, and these towns made for good venues for Jesei Fray's line of work. It wasn't easy, but the work was plentiful. Of course, he also knew that the driver was not going to take him all the way to Kakariko, as it was much too far away. All he needed was a lift to the fringe of the desert where he would enter the Hyrule mainland. In these sorts of situations, sleep would pass the time in spades; however, the roads were not the safest, so sleep was not a luxury that any individual trekking the Gerudo Desert. Instead, Jesei looked at his dagger, apparently a valuable family item, and occasionally scanned the area with his eyes for bandits and other dangerous company.

"Don!" calls Don's commander. "I need to talk to you." Don walks over to his commander in a fast pace. He had just gotten back in after completing a relatively minor mission. He stops when he is in front of his commander. "You called me, sir," he says in a voice that sounds quite bored, however, that is just how Don generally sounds. The commander is used to this, and knows that Don means no disrespect. "First I'd like to congratulate you on yet another successfully executed mission," the commander starts. "Now I've got a new mission for you. I'm sure you've heard about a mission that involves neutralizing the shaman of Kakariko Village. We have been talking about it and planning for it for over a month now. Yesterday we finally decided on who we think is the best suited for the job, and you might not be surprised to learn that it's you, Don." Don nods understandingly. "I will take care of it," he says shortly before turning around and walks to his quarters to prepare himself for the mission.

Raidon silently yawned as he opened his eyes and surveyed his surroundings. He was sitting in the branches of a tree twenty feet off the ground, on the slope of a small valley, clad in a full-body ghille suit. He stretched and shook his head before reaching into his satchel. He carefully pulled out a highly reflective mirror, and looked to the other side of the valley. He lowered the magnification goggles on his head, and began rapidly tilting the mirror toward the sun so it produced a flash of light. By doing this repeatedly in quick succession, he formed a message "COMBAT READY?" He waited a moment, until another series of light flashes appeared on the other valley slope "AFFIRMATIVE". Raidon sent an acknowledgement message back to his partner and unattached his crossbow from its sling.

The Disciple and his partner were assigned to the narrow valley pass in southern Hyrule for a specific task. A Wizzrobe necromancer was becoming a problem. In addition to committing the ultimate heresy of reawakening and enslaving dead souls, the Wizzrobe was an important asset to Ganondorf's occupation. Eliminating him would strike a major blow against the tyrannical ruler. A deep-cover Disciple in Ganondorf's camp revealed that the wizard would be traveling through the valley pass after bolstering his forces from far-off graveyards. Needless to say, he would be heavily guarded, and the snipers would only get one chance.

Raidon checked his weapon for damage, loaded a bolt and cleaned the scope. Now, all he could do was wait.

After getting another red potion and a fairy for good measure, Keiran exited the Potion Shop and made her way to the graveyard, the only interesting thing in Kakariko. She knew none of her relatives would be buried there; the Gerudo burial rituals were far more complex than just throwing the body in a pit and dropping a slab of rock beside it. However, it wasn't the tombstones that interested her, but the fact that something was hidden there, a treasure of the Sheikah and Hylian royalty.

The desert woman looked around, finding a sign to the right of the main entrance. It held no important information, just something about an old gravedigger. What was of more interest was the slab of ancient stone beyond. Keiran walked over, and inspected the description, which was in a form of Hylian she couldn't read. Cursing under her breath, she paced among the tombstones. Some were newer, with vibrant flowers planted around them, but the farther back she went, the more decrepit the rocks became. Sighing, Keiran leaned against the fence, looking for some pattern or other common factor in the older tombstones. There had to be something here.

Late in the night, in a small village south of Castle Town, a bandit let himself into a house. There wasn't much in there - the owners didn't have much. But neither did the bandit. He quickly jumps into action, digging through drawers and looking under things, for whatever he could find. He stops when he hears a clapping from behind him.
"Good show!" Calls a voice, "Excellent job getting in here sir," the bandit looks around, confused. The dwelling echoes some, and he can't locate the source of the sound - not until it slams him in the back of the head with the hilt of its sword.
Jason looks down at the figure in front of him. Sad he had to do this - the man was only providing for himself. But it came at the cost of others. Picking up the robber, he carries him outside. What to do...
Locating a nearby tree, Jay leans him against it and ties the robber's hands around a branch. There we go. Giving a nod at his work well-done, he turns to leave. The people will know what happened in the morning.

Keiran paced back and forth in front of the oldest tombs in the graveyard. Beyond them lay a fence, overgrown with weeds to the point it almost looked like a natural part of the mountain. She couldn't see beyond it. Below her feet, the Triforce was marked in aging stone. It was directly in front of the wall of vines. She knew the crest had something to do with whatever was beyond the fence, but she didn't know what triggered it. Some kind of spell?

Her mind spinning, Keiran decided to give it a rest and find something better to do with her time. Judging by the position of the sun it was well into the morning already. She felt a pang of hunger, remembering she hadn't eaten breakfast. The warrior sighed and began heading back to the center of town, in search of a meal.

After a number of quiet hours, Jesei's carriage reaches the forests bordering Hyrule proper. The hour was late, but Jesei decided to tackle the forest travel as to arrive to Kakariko as early as possible.

Early the following night Don leaves the Darknut headquarters that are well hidden in Castle Town. He grabs a horse and rides out of the city and over to Kakariko Village. The ride is not long, but long enough for Don to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful sight of the the moonlit field. When he reaches the entrance to Kakariko he hops off his horse and ties it to a nearby tree. It was now past midnight. He walks towards the village entrance and is greeted by a lone guard. "Welcome to Kakariko Village," the guard says politely. "Where do you come from and what's your business during your stay here?" In response Don silently covers the guard's mouth with his left hand while stabbing him through his stomach with his big sword. The guard falls lifeless to the ground. Don continues into the sleeping village. He looks around and soon finds the shaman's house. It's kinda hard to miss. Instead of breaking down the front door to enter he manages to climb the building and quietly get into the house through one of the windows on the second floor. Once inside he finds himself in a room with book filled bookshelves along the walls and two couches standing by a small round table.

Raidon had been waiting for hours long after the sun went down, and it looked his patience had finally paid off. He heard the unmistakable grinding and rattling of bones coming up the valley road. Raidon rested his finger on the trigger of his crossbow as skeletal warriors carrying torches and ancient swords marched through. The sniper peered through his scope among the racially diverse skeletal army. It didn't take long to find their master. The Wizzrobe was sitting atop a throne made of bone being carried by eight undead warriors, wearing a disturbing skull mask and waving around a gnarled staff.

Raidon took a deep breath and lined up the crosshairs right on the wizard's head. A moving target would not be easy to hit. He took a deep breath, and gently squeezed the trigger. The bolt flew through the air and hit the Wizzrobe the side of his head. The impact knocked him off his throne and face first into the dirt. Amazingly he started to get to his feet, yanking the bolt out and screaming, when another bolt flew from the other side of the valley and lodged itself into his shoulder. Raidon quickly loaded another bolt and fired. This time, it finally silenced the heretical necromancer. "Valry, Majora" Raidon whispered.

The undead army were suddenly confused at the loss of their master. With him gone, the magic would wear off in about an hour or so and they would collapse, but until then, they were angry and looking for the assassins. It was time to go.
Raidon jumped out of the tree, rolling as he hit the ground. Then he slipped his crossbow into its sling and took off sprinting into the woods, vaulting over fallen trunks and dodging low-hanging branches. The rendezvous point was set by Kakariko Village, and the Disciple was moving in that direction, leaving the howling dead behind in the night.

Jason didn't get much sleep that night. But that was normal - working at night and pretending you don't during the day is a bit of a task. Shaking his head, he walks outside into the sunlight.

Don continues quietly out of the room he found himself in. He sneaks out into a dark hallway. There are several closed doors on both sides. He opens the first door to the left and peaks inside. It's just an empty room that looks like some kind of art studio, so Don closes the door and tries another one. He carefully opens the door opposite to the previous one he'd checked. It's dark, but after a short while he can see a bed in there with a man sleeping on his back in it. Don walks quietly over to the bed and is now able to recognize the sleeping person in the bed as the shaman of Kakariko Village; his target. He draws his slimmer and lighter sword and points it at the shaman's throat, but the sound of unsheathing the sword wakes the shaman up. He sees Don standing at his bedside in full armor and a drawn sword, so he screams hysterically in fear and tries to get out of his tangled covers. Before the shaman is able to get out of bed Don swiftly slits his throat, killing him.

The shaman's scream was bad though. It would have alerted several people nearby. Don could already hear running footsteps approaching in the hallway, so he opens the window and jumps down to the street outside, breaking the fall by rolling when he hits the ground. He gazes around the dark street to determine what escape route he would take from here.
