if someone is asking me something like that I just ask them more questions so I can weight the options better and give one to them

...which they usually don't go for because their mind was already made and they just wanted to try hearing someone pick the same as theirs...

When it comes to food I tend to be pretty quick to make a decision since I am a fussy eater and my options are more limited. When it comes to other things I can tend to be indecisive sometimes as I like to have as much information as possible before I make a decision on something.

I will pretend to be more indecisive whilst guiding them towards choosing exactly what I want and making them think it was their idea.
