How Many of You Had The Day Off?

I'm interested in seeing how many school districts actually recognize Jewish holidays like Rosh Hashanah. Did YOU have the day off today? I live in Connecticut, and I'm not sure if it's the whole state that observes it, but my town of West Hartford gives us a day off (making sense since we do have quite a large Jewish community).

I did not. We don't have many Jewish people around my town, but lucky for you then!

No, I actually had a field trip at school today. It sucked. It was rainy, muddy, and really cold.

My cousin did. My dad also got a day off from work because his boss is Jewish.

I did. There are a good amount of Jewish people where I live so we get the holiday off
