Clawshots or Hookshot?

I'd say ClawShots, Very useful, they allow you to hang and there is no need to get a longer version. They make link look like he also has mechanical claws when just wearing them.

Well, my friends would kill me for this, but I prefer the Clawshot because I believe it to look cooler. It allows you to hang from ceilings and in the part in the third dungeon in TP where you get the Boss Key, I couldn't help but sing the Mission Impossible theme. You are also allowed to wield two at once. However, I do respect the Longshot's superior range as well as both the Hookshot and Longshot's superiority in weapon strength.

+ the hookshot is like 2 feet long, and the longshoot wasn't much better

I like the Double Clawshot for it's new abilities, but I miss hookshotting from building to building in Kakariko Village in OoT...
