Well I'm just banking on my theory that the evolution went Kikwi->Korok->Kokiri->Korok and we are at part 2.

How has no one corrected you yet? The Kokiri didn't evolve. They changed their form to the Korok. I'm not denying you, just saying evolution has nothing to do with it where the Kokiri and Koroks are concerned.
