Zelda Universe-25 Years in 25 Days: Into the Future

Yesterday, I said that 2011 would be the last article from Zelda Universe for their 25 Years in 25 Days. I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I realized there was still one more to go. For many of us, today means we finally get Skyward Sword. I know I am anxiously awaiting for my local game store to open so I can go get my copy. But while we have the time, today’s article looks into the future for Zelda. Many of the staff members at Zelda Universe have shared their thoughts on what they expect from Skyward Sword and the future of the series. Thank you for journeying with us for the last 25 days and looking back at some of the most memorable moments in Zelda’s history. We hope that you’ve enjoyed reading these articles and that they’ve kept you entertained while you’ve been waiting for Skyward Sword. The good news is that your wait is over! If you live in the US, you’ll be able to get your hands on the game today, and you may even be lucky enough to have already had it for a couple of days. Regardless of where you live, you’ll only have a few more days to wait at most!

We’ve just taken a look back at Zelda’s past, and tomorrow we’ll be able to see what Zelda’s more immediate future will bring. Where Zelda will go from here is anyone’s guess, but I certainly hope that one day we will be celebrating Zelda’s 50th anniversary! To finish things off, I’ll leave you with some thoughts from a few of Zelda Universe’s staff members on what they expect Skyward Sword and the future of Zelda to bring.
