Zelda II: The Adventure of Link heading to Japanese 3DS Virtual Console

Nintendo of Japan have announced that Zelda II: The Adventure of Link will be available to purchase on the 3DS Virtual Console next week. It will be available from the 6th of June and the price for a copy will be 500 yen. If you already own Zelda II via the Ambassador Program, then you will receive an minor update for the game when you access the e-shop. Jump inside for more details.
The only update to the new version will likely the ability to use a save state feature, as this has been implemented in other such classic games being released on the 3DS Virtual Console.
At the moment there is no news of Zelda II being released outside of Japan, however its very likely that it will be released worldwide so be sure to check back soon for future announcements. Don’t forget to leave your comments below.
