Zelda Fanart Spotlight – Song of Time

Today’s Zelda Fanart Spotlight is on deviantART artist, Lunaros‘ Majora’s Mask fanart, ‘Song of Time‘. This fanart features the time in the game where Link (as Deku Link) uses the Song of Time for the first time after he recovers his ocarina from Skull Kid. The background of the picture shows the glowing clocks whose hands are turning counterclockwise swarming around Link and Tatl as they fall backwards through time.
The look on Deku Link’s face shows his obvious shock upon seeing the scene around him. Although he has taken some trips through time a few times before during his time in Hyrule it is apparent that none of those where quite like this.
The colors that were used in this fanart help make the scene more easy and interesting to the eye. They also create a nice contrast between the “future” that Deku Link is falling from and the “past” that he is falling into. This is also a scene that I’ve never seen done before and I think the artist made this scene come to life wonderfully.
