Zelda Fanart Spotlight – Majora’s Mask: Kafei’s Pool Watercolor
Posted on September 15 2012 by Knowlee
Today’s Zelda Fanart Spotlight is on deviantART artist theonlybriman‘s Majora’s Mask fanart titled, “Majora’s Mask: Kafei’s Pool Watercolor“. This piece of fanart was made using watercolors and a little bit of touching up in Photoshop. The scenery that is depicted is the Laundry Pool in Clocktown. Guru Guru is sitting on the bench playing his instrument and Kafei is standing near the start of the bridge looking over at him while the missing piece of the Great Fairy is floating nearby. Also seen in the picture is one of the frogs in Don Gero’s band and two fish swimming about in the pool. In the reflection of the pool, the sneering face of the moon can be seen.
I love the colors used in this picture. It helps to bring out all the little details and makes the scene look very beautiful. This is one of my favorite parts of Clocktown and I think that it was portrayed very well in this watercolor picture.
The artist has other art located in his gallery. Please go check it out and let him know what you thought of this piece. Also please let us know what you thought of this by leaving a comment in the section below!
