Posted on June 28 2023 by John Piland
If you’ve completed Tears of the Kingdom and need a new Zelda fix, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass may have the answer.
Now available from the Sega Genesis collection, Crusader of Centy is now available. Make no mistake: this 1994 title may look like A Link to the Past, and feel like it too, but it’s a unique fantasy epic all its own. With sword and sorcery, animal friends and monsterly foes, this time traveling adventure is rich with combat and exploration. Take up the sword as Corona, as he fights to save the world from an army of monsters in this adventure that feels like it came right out of Hyrule.
Four classic SEGA Genesis games have just been made available for #NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack members!

Crusader of Centy, titled Soleil in Europe, first released for the Sega Genesis in 1994. Critics at the time described it as “Sega’s answer to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past” due to its visuals and mechanics.

John has been a Zelda fan for over 10 years now and is proud to say the series has had a major impact on his life (and wallet). After years of going to Zelda Dungeon for guides or the latest news on the series, John achieved their dream when they joined the writing team in 2019; John can hardly believe how long it’s been. A librarian, he loves meticulously arranging his library of Zelda games and collectibles. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for Tears of the Kingdom, John looks forward to the future of the Zelda franchise with enthusiasm, whether that’s the upcoming movie, a new spin-off/remake, or the next big game.
