Zelda Artist Exposition: SeaboardBlue

Hello everybody! This is another installment of Zelda Artist Exposition—the series where I feature a Zelda fan artist. The goal is to boost the recognition of their talents. Suggestions for features are always welcome; just leave a comment. The artist of the day is SeaboardBlue.

SeaboardBlue, who just goes by “Blue,” has had a respectable run on deviantART. They have been on the website for approximately three years and uploaded 122 pieces in that time. Additionally, they accumulated over 70,000 views on their page and garnered 1,485 watchers.

Luckily for this viewer base, Blue’s entire gallery is Zelda themed, which gives you guys tons to look at. Blue has improved and evolved immensely but steadily over the course of their art career so the drawings vary in style and other aspects. That being said, their gallery is consistently colorful and expressive. Each piece exudes its own, usually upbeat, mood.

The pieces below are some selections I hoped would accurately represent Blue’s gallery although there was a lot to choose from.
