Zelda Artist Exposition: Ry-Spirit
Posted on August 02 2014 by LukeSaturn
Hello everyone. At Zelda Dungeon we sure are getting tons of news on Hyrule Warriors, which is as exciting for us as it is for you, but if you would like a break, here is another Zelda Artist Exposition. These features are designed to better spread the joy of art throughout the Zelda community and further support fan artists. Today’s feature is a rather popular artist on deviantART. He really does not need exposed at all, but I love his well-renowned work so I think he deserves a spot. Here is Ry-Spirit!
Ry-Spirit does not give a real name and just goes by Ry Pie, so I will be calling him Ry. That being said, Ry is an astounding artist. He has been on deviantART for six years and in that time has uploaded a whopping 865 deviations. His other statistics are just as staggering. He has over thirty thousand watchers and over one million pageviews! Needless to say, Ry has made a name for himself as a very active and committed member of the website.
Almost too much could be said about Ry’s gallery. It is overwhelming, impressive, diverse, and most of all—fun. His style is perfectly unique, and his work covers innumerable fandoms and subjects so you are in for a treat from whichever viewpoint you approach from. Even just within Zelda, he covers several games and scenarios.
Below there are a few more choice pieces by Ry.
As always, if you have any suggestions for artists to feature, please do not hesitate to comment. I hope you all enjoyed the feature this week. Comment with your thoughts on the art and be sure to view Ry’s page below. Check out his gallery and show your support.
