October 25th, 2011 – Zelda fans from up and down the UK and even further parts of Europe all gathered in London for The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony. Some of the fans were even cosplaying as Link and Zelda! Mr Koji Kondo selected the medleys and songs for the night. As the audience buzzed with excitement the evening was kicked off with Mr Aonuma introducing the performance. Thousands of people attended the London performance to witness the spectacular musical experience. With this year marking Zelda’s 25th anniversary, an excellent symphony of music from various games is just what the true fans needed to add to the anticipation for Skyward Sword.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra put on an exceptional show, including the Hyrule Castle theme, Ocarina Melody Suite and Twilight Princess’ Kakariko Village theme. The concert involved a large array of instruments and there was also a choir involved.

In addition to the outstanding music, Zelda Williams (named after Princess Zelda herself) also made a special guest appearance at the performance. She talked to the audience about how much of a Zelda fan she was. She even had a Triforce symbol on her hand!

Fans went crazy for the music, cheering and applauding and asking for encores. Social networks were flooded with the delight and happiness of the audience. Anyone with a 3DS, you can receive a snippet of the performance using SpotPass and Nintendo Video. This includes the Main Theme Medley, and best of all, it’s in 3D!
