While most fans are fine with simply owning artwork of their favorite location in Zelda, others are always craving something a bit more for their personalized collection. If you have ever been one of those people that want a distinct piece of merchandise from the series, then now is the perfect time to get your hands on a rather special item. This is thanks to Etsy merchant RetroDesign3D and their amazing work on what they call “micro worlds.”

The small 3D-printed sculptures that they currently showcase on their Etsy page feature specific maps and locations from the Zelda series. As of this writing, the crafter has micro world maps from games in the franchise such as the NES The Legend of Zelda ($49 USD), A Link to the Past ($45 USD for small, $95 USD for large), and Ocarina of Time ($49 USD). There are also some micro world models that aren’t simply small renditions of overworld maps either. Take the Link’s Awakening one for instance ($45 USD), as that is a figure of Mount Tamaranch with the Wind Fish’s Egg sitting on top of it.

RetroDesign3D’s Etsy shop even features micro world models of the dungeon maps from the original The Legend of Zelda, though currently only four of the nine dungeons are being sold individually. Three of the four separately sold dungeons from the NES classic (Eagle, Moon, and Manji) sell for $45 USD each, while the one based off Death Mountain costs $59 USD. If you want all nine of the original maps in one definitive package, that will run you $330 USD.

Outside of their micro world mindset there are also a few other Zelda-themed items RetroDesign3D has for sale. This includes such items as a collector’s sign featuring the original starting screen logo from The Legend of Zelda ($25.50 USD) which the artist has confirmed on their official Facebook page that they are currently in early production of an updated version. Likewise, the RetroDesign3D Etsy shop offers 3D-printer blueprints, which include a sculpture of NES Link ($4.50 USD), a model of Link’s home from A Link to the Past ($5.99 USD) and a 12-inch by 12-inch 16-bit model of that title’s Hyrule ($4.99 USD). Also available is a creation kit which lets you build your own dungeon from the original NES game ($3.89 USD).

RetroDesign3D (AKA Jeff Retro) is an artist based in Missouri who, according to their Etsy About section, just so happens to have a knack for using 3D-printers, engravers, and other tools. The crafter’s official Facebook page also says that they enjoy recreating some of their favorite gaming memories using 3D-printing.
