Wiki Giveaway Still Going Strong – Free Link Plush Doll

In celebration of 4-years online and 5,000 articles, the Zelda Dungeon Wiki is hosting our annual giveaway. As of this post we have given away eight Link plushies, and we will continue giving them away throughout the month of December. We are giving away plushies to all new editors of the Wiki that make notable contributions. Editing the Wiki won’t just give you a chance, or put you in a drawing to win a plushie. It will almost guarantee that you will win a plushie as we are giving away up to 50 of these plushies. Make the jump for all the details.

A few notes about the giveaway.

• New Members must Register at the Wiki, and make 25 edits.
• Each edit must be somewhat substantial. (At least 1-2 sentences each).
• There is a limit of 50 winners. Given the high number, it is almost a guarantee that you will get a free plush doll if you choose to participate. (Last year we had 22 winners when running the giveaway).
• Interested participants should contact Mases directly. This can be either on Skype at armochicken13, via email at webmaster@zeldadungeon.net, or on my Wiki Talk Page.
• Participants from all around the world are eligible.
• The giveaway lasts from today through the month of December.

While this is a giveaway, this is also your chance to help make Zelda Dungeon better than it already is. We understand it takes time and effort to make solid contributions, perhaps that time and effort is worth more than the cost of a plushie. What we are really asking for, is for you to volunteer your time, and in return, get some benefit for it. As with previous giveways like such, we not only hope to get a surge of editors, but we hope to bring new blood into the family, and we hope that your involvement will extend beyond just these few weeks.

You can edit pretty much any page you’d like. However, if you are a bit stuck and not sure what to edit, here are two lists of pages that could be worked on.

• Stubs: Short or Incomplete pages that need to be expanded or improved.
• Wanted Pages: Pages that are linked to somewhere on the Wiki but a page does not exist. A new page can be created.
