Blue Fire is a bottle material from Ocarina of Time.
Ocarina of Time
Described as a "cool flame" or a "supernatural flame"[1], Blue Fire is the only thing which can melt red ice. While the Potion Shop has a Blue Fire lamp which they sell the use of for 300 rupees, there are two Blue Fire braziers in the Ice Cavern which Link can swipe a bottle through to capture some Blue Fire. There is also a Blue Fire brazier in the Water Medallion trial of Ganon's Castle. In both locations, there is red ice which blocks the way and holds items, including a Piece of Heart in the Ice Cavern.
Outside of the Ice Cavern and Ganon's Castle, the only places in the standard Ocarina of Time which require Blue Fire are in the frozen Zora's Domain. A wall of red ice blocks the Zora Shop, while King Zora himself is locked in a red ice crystal. Once unfrozen using Blue Fire, the King gives Link a Zora Tunic as thanks.
The Buyer will purchase a bottle of Blue Fire for 150 rupees.
Master Quest
There is an additional Blue Fire brazier in Ocarina of Time Master Quest, in the Gerudo Training Ground, where it is needed to melt a hidden red ice wall.
