The Great Fairy's Request is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

After completing The Rift on Eldin Volcano, travel to the Great Fairy Shrine, where there is a new Treasure Chest. Opening it reveals a Might Crystal, whereupon the Great Fairy will object to Zelda just coming into her home and taking her stuff; before confessing she doesn't really care about it anyway.

On realizing Zelda is collecting might crystals, she offers to craft her an object to help her find them, in return for a piece of jewelry made by the artisan who runs the Gerudo Shop. The Gerudo is thrilled by the idea of making something for the Great Fairy, and wants a Floral Seashell and Magma Stone to make the "most breathtaking piece" for her.

The Sea Zora Shop owner has a floral seashell, but even after Zelda uses puppy-dog eyes on him to make him willing to trade, wants to try an Unfortunate Smoothie. Bringing one to him will give him an atrocity to cherish forever, and he gives her the seashell.

While no one has any magma stones, one of the Gorons who runs the shop in Goron City knows where to get them - unfortunately, it's in the Lizalfos Burrow. After Zelda clears the Lizalfos out again, he collects a bunch of them, and gives her what he describes as the best one.

With those, the Gerudo artisan makes the Lovely Pendant. When Zelda returns to the Great Fairy Shrine, the Great Fairy is thrilled by it, and gives Zelda a Might Bell as promised.

Walkthrough

After clearing the Eldin Temple, Zelda can head to the Great Fairy Shrine and speak with the Great Fairy. If Zelda has previously met the Great Fairy, there will be a treasure chest in the room, which Zelda can open to get a Might Crystal.
The Great Fairy will appear, asking Zelda if she wants an item that will help her find more Might Crystals. She first asks Zelda to bring her a pendant, one that can be found at the Gerudo Shop in Gerudo Town. This will begin the quest.
Make your way to the Gerudo Shop and the woman here will begin to work on the accessory that the Great Fairy requested. However, she will need Floral Seashells and Magma Stones. The Floral Seashell can be found in Zora Cove and she suggests talking to the Sea Zora. Magma Stones can be found near the Eldin Volcano, and she suggests talking to the Goron at the Goron City Shop.
Make your way to Sea Zora Village and speak to the Zora at the left side who runs the shop. They have the Floral Seashell that Zelda wants, but in exchange, they want an Unfortunate Smoothie. Zelda can make an Unfortunate Smoothie at a Smoothie Shop by mixing ingredients that don't work well together. This can be achieved by mixing Refreshing Grapes or Rock Salt, with Monster Guts or a Monster Fang. There are plenty of other combinations, but these are some of the more common ones.
After Zelda has an Unfortunate Smoothie, speak to the Sea Zora again and they will drink the smoothie. In exchange, they will give Zelda the Floral Seashell.
Travel to Goron City and visit the Goron City Shop. Speak to the Goron on the right about a Magma Stone. The Goron says the stone can be found in the lava lake north of the city, but it is infested with Lizalfos.
Return to the Lizalfos Burrow and travel all the way to the final room. After clearing the Lizalfos, Zelda will be joined by the Goron who told her where to find magma stones. He will then go and get a bunch of Magma Stones, giving Zelda the best one.
Return to Gerudo Town and show the Gerudo artisan the Floral Seashell and Magma Stone. The Gerudo will create a Lovely Pendant.
Return to the Great Fairy and show her the Lovely Pendant. The Great Fairy will award Zelda with a Might Bell. This bell will ring when a Might Crystal is nearby.
