The Hidden Power of Color[1] is a book in Link's Awakening DX and the Switch remake of Link's Awakening. It can be found atop a bookshelf at the back of the Village Library. Link must charge into the bookshelf with the Pegasus Boots to knock it down in order to read it. It provides directions to move the gravestones in the Cemetery and enter the Color Dungeon.
Link's Awakening DX
"New world of color under the 5 gravestones. 3^ 4> 5^ 2< 1v Try with all your might. Open a new path! Whoever is worthy receives the power of color. I wonder what the world of color is?"
In Link's Awakening DX, the book had no title. It gives the directions to move the grave in the Cemetery.
Link's Awakening (Switch)
""There's a new world of color under the five gravestones: 3^ 4> 5^ 2< 1v Try with all your might and you may open a new path. Are you worthy to receive the power of color?" What's this "world of color" about? Maybe you should try it and see!"
Although the directions to move the graves are exactly the same, the text of the book changes slightly in the Switch remake to become more clear.
