Infinite Sword Glitch

Games

Prerequisite

Uses

Allows Link's sword to constantly be swinging.

The Infinite Sword Glitch is a glitch used in Ocarina of Time. It has the effect as if Link was constantly swinging his sword, allowing him to quickly defeat enemies.

Since Link is constantly swinging his sword during this glitch, he will lose the ability to perform other movement techniques, such as automatically jumping off objects, or even falling off ledges.

How-To Perform

  • Link will need to find an item or object that he can interact with by using the 'A' button or a 'C-button'. Objects such as bushes, sign posts, or speaking with Navi work.
  • While Link is crouching by holding the 'R' button, Link can stab forward by pressing the 'B' button. While he is attacking, he must immediately interrupt the attack by pressing the 'A' button, causing him to interact with the object ahead.
  • If done correctly, Link's sword will give off a white glow, as if he was constantly swinging. Link can then walk up to enemies or objects and will repeatedly by striking them.
