Hot Weather Attack: Grants a temporary attack enhancement in hot places

Related

Scorching is an effect that can be applied to meals in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

"Grants a [x]-level attack enhancement in hot places."

— In-game description

Scorching Meals are created when Link cooks Fire Fruit in a lit Cooking Pot as part of a meal (with no conflicting effects). The scorching effect cannot be applied to an Elixir.

When eaten, Scorching Meals grant Link a temporary Hot Weather Attack effect. Unlike the attack enhancement applied by Mighty meals, Link's standard attack output is unchanged by this effect. Instead, the effect works by adding an elemental blast effect to Link's combos and charged attacks while in hot places. The quality & amount of the ingredients used determines the duration of the effect, the number of hearts restored, and the blast radius of the attack enhancement granted. It does not include Heat Resistance or Fire Resistance.

Ingredients

The only ingredient that gives the scorching effect is Fire Fruit. When cooked, a single Fire Fruit restores half a Heart Container and applies the scorching effect for one minute (or until it is overwritten by a new effect).
