Gears are collectable items in Cadence of Hyrule. There are a total of five in the game, four in the Gerudo Desert and one in the Desert surrounding Gerudo Village. In order to enter the Gerudo Ruins, the player needs to find four gears and bring them to the dungeon, where a Gerudo will use them to fix the bridge machine. The fifth gear has no use, and is merely a collectable.
