The Life Tree Fruit is a quest item from Skyward Sword.
Skyward Sword
"A legendary fruit that is rumored to be able to cure any ailment. Its taste is said to be unique among all the flavors of the world."
A round fruit carried by the fully-grown Life Tree Seedling, Life Tree Fruit cures any and all illnesses suffered by whoever consumes it.
Link must bring one to Lanayru in the Timeshift Stone-affected Lanayru Gorge in order to cure the fatal illness preventing him from singing his part of the Song of the Hero. Before Link can cure the ancient Thunder Dragon, he must go back to the past of the Sealed Temple and plant the Life Tree Seedling. Upon returning to the present, he finds that he has changed history so that there is now a fully-grown Tree of Life there, which has produced a single Life Tree Fruit.
If Link takes this fruit to the fatally ill Lanayru, it instantly cures him. He will then sing his part of the Song of the Hero for Link; subsequently, he allows Link to enter the Thunder Dragon's Lightning Round.
