The Captain's Hat is a mask from Majora's Mask. When Link heads to the Ikana Graveyard, he can find Captain Keeta resting. In order to awaken him, Link must play the Sonata of Awakening, which results in Captain Keeta awakening and challenging the young hero to a battle. For Link to win the battle, he has to make it to the end of the trail. When Link completes the challenge, Captain Keeta will reward him with the Captain's Hat. With the mask in hand, Link can be mistaken for Captain Keeta by the Stalchildren, which allows him to talk to and be respected by them.[1][2]
