In Europe, it was available as part of a two-pack with the Zelda (The Wind Waker) amiibo (who, in contrast to Link, was not identified as "Toon Zelda").
Functionality
The The Wind Waker Toon Link amiibo has functionality in several The Legend of Zelda series and related titles:
- Super Smash Bros. - Train your FP fighter and level it up. Data can be stored on the amiibo figurine.
- Hyrule Warriors - Receive the Spinner as a weapon for Link. If the Spinner is already unlocked, Link will receive a weapon with 3 stars or higher.
- Twilight Princess HD - Replenishes Link's Arrows
- Breath of the Wild - Causes various fish, arrows, the Sea-Breeze Boomerang and the Hero of Winds Set.
