The Mad Alchemist is a character from A Link to the Past that is never seen within the game. The Mad Alchemist is described in the game's instruction manual as being responsible for the creation of the Snap Dragon enemies that appear in the Dark World. The enemies were the result of a plant experiment.^[1]
