The Gerudo Sanctum Walkthrough is a full guide for the Gerudo Sanctum, the dungeon featured in Echoes of Wisdom. This includes navigating the dungeon, opening all chests, and taking on the dungeon boss, Mogryph.

Small Key

  • After entering the Sanctum, Tri can create a rift leading into the Stilled World. Immediately Link will be seen running ahead, so follow suit.
  • Climb the right side of the room, avoiding the wind geysers. Use Bind on the Boulder and drop it in front of the wind on the left. Jump over to the left side and climb up.
  • Walk through the door on the right and use Bind to pull the lever. This will cause the blocks to stay open, allowing Zelda to head up a screen. Run over to the right side, use an Echo to jump up and then head up a screen.
  • Use Bind to pull the spinning door open and then head up a screen. Open the chest to get a small key.
  • Backtrack down two screens and left a screen, this time taking the door on the left. Here there are some Flying Tiles, which Zelda can examine to learn the Flying Tile Echo. Drop a Boulder and stand behind it to prevent the tiles from hitting you.
  • Open the chest that appears to get 20 rupees. Return to the room to the right and use the small key on the locked door. Learn the Snake Statue Echo and then head up through the door.

Dungeon Map

  • Zelda will be confronted with two Mothulas. Defeat them using an echo, such as a Peahat Echo and be sure to learn the valuable Mothula Echo. Zelda can head left through the door that opens.
  • There is a treasure chest on the other side of the wall that we can't quite get just yet, but we will shortly. Continue down a screen.
  • Jump on the conveyor belts and grab the Wooden Boxes with Bind. Move the boxes and drop them into the abyss. Then jump over and head down the ladder.
  • There is a Caromadillo Lv. 2 that is rolling around and Zelda can defeat it with some echoes, including a Pathblade Echo.
  • Use a Holmill on the sand to reach the chest and get a Golden Egg. Continue down the ladder and exit the room.
  • The statue here mentions that Zelda needs to seek out two distinctive tributes that are on the floor.
  • Use Bind and pull the wall on the right side and head through the opening. Zelda can use a Wind Cannon to clear the sand and defeat the enemies. The statue on the right underneath the sand mentions that one of the tributes is blue in color, has large tusks, and a long nose. Zelda can also clear the sand to find a chest in the room that contains 10 Rock Salt.
  • Head back left two screens to encounter an enemy Poe. Use an echo, such as a Caromadillo Lv. 2 Echo to defeat the Poe. Open the chest that appears to get the Dungeon Map. Exit the room through the opening on the left.

Hawk Statue Echo

  • Zelda will appear outside, within the Stilled Gerudo Sanctum where she sees Link run off. Just to the right, there is a small window that Zelda can climb into by using a series of Echos. Inside, Zelda will find 35 rupees.
  • Back outside, Zelda can navigate the Still World. At the far northwest end of the area, Zelda can pull up a treasure chest to get 20 rupees.
  • After continuing north, Zelda will find a ladder that is too high up to reach. However, she can use Bind to spin the circular platform around, completing the ladder. Climb up and open the chest to get 50 rupees.
  • Continue navigating to the east, defeating or avoid the Tornando enemies to reach a Waypoint. Just to the left of the waypoint, there is some sand. Use a Holmill to create a whole and drop down. You'll appear back inside in the room where there was a chest that was previously not reachable. Open it to get 50 rupees and then warp back to the waypoint.
  • Back outside in the Stilled World, use the Wind Cannon to clear the sand at the bottom here to find a chest which contains a Monster Stone.
  • Drop down on the right side, but don't quite go into the door just yet. Instead, continue traveling to the east within the Stilled World.
  • Use Echos to climb up and get by the Dark ReDeads. Up ahead there is another spherical platform and Zelda can use Bind to rotate the platform. Climb the ladder here and learn the Hawk Statue Echo.
  • Backtrack, or warp back to the Waypoint at the south end of the Stilled World. Drop down on the right and head back inside the dungeon.

Bow of Might

  • Back inside, pull the lever on the left to keep the door open. Then quickly leap across, using echoes, such as a Platboom Echo to reach the door before it closes.
  • Clear the Gibdos and ReDeads in the room and learn the Cat Statue Echo. Move the Cat Statue and head up a screen. Continue up another screen to take on the dungeon mini-boss, the Echo of Link.
  • This time around Link has his Bow and will shoot arrows towards Zelda. While Zelda can use Echoes to defeat Link, the most efficient way is to use the Swordfighter Form and attack Link with the sword.
  • After hitting Link enough times he'll be defeated, but the echoes will return, this time spawning three different Link Echoes at once. Repeat the same process to defeat Link and acquire the Bow of Might.

Elephant Statue Echo

  • After getting the Bow, Zelda can head up the ladder. Using the Bow, she can defeat the Beetles and shoot the purple web in the distance. Use Echoes to cross the gap.
  • In the next area, ride the conveyor belts and drop a Boulder to block the flames from hitting Zelda. Make your way to the northeast corner of the room and learn the Elephant Statue Echo.
  • Just to the left of hte Elephant Statue, open the chest to get a Small Key. Climb the ladder on the left and head back down the ladder.
  • Zelda can either backtrack a few screens or more simply warp back to the Waypoint on the first floor, just before she fought Link.

Stone Tablet (Optional)

  • This portion is optional. The small key just leads to a stone tablet, which gives Zelda a clue on where to find the Hawk Statue that we previously got. If you have both statues, you can just warp to the Waypoint on the 1F at the bottom-left part of the dungeon.
  • If not, make your way to the waypoint just before the Link battle. Continue down two screens and use the small key on the locked door.
  • Use Bind on the northern wall to open up a passage.
  • At the top-left of the room, there is a Wind Cannon that is blowing on one of the torches. Use Bind to grab it and drop it into the abyss.
  • Grab the handle of the object that is shooting fire and rotate it to light the torches. For the other two torches, either keep rotating the object, or simply use Ignizols to light them. This leads to a statue, informing Zelda that the other object rests its wings atop a tower and bears sharp eyes and a strong beak. This is referring to the Hawk Statue we previously got.

Big Key

  • Warp to the Waypoint on the 1F, at the southwest part of the map. Place the Hawk Statue and Elephant Statue on the two floor markers, causing the door to open.
  • Pull the plug and it will cause sand to drain down through the hole.
  • Walk right a screen and use Bind to rotate the outer circle until the whole is facing downward.
  • Then use the device at the southwest part of the room to slowly spin the inner circle until it is facing downard. With both switches rotated, open the chest to get the Big Key.
  • Climb the stairs here and use the Big Key to take on the dungeon boss.
