Elephant Statues are a type of object in The Legend of Zelda series with varying uses.

Link's Awakening

Elephant statues block Link's way several times in the Face Shrine. To move them, he must first find the L-2 Power Bracelet; this gives him the strength to lift and throw them, smashing them into pieces and clearing his way.

Elephant statues block Link's way several times in the Earth Temple. To destroy them, light must be shone on them - to do so, he must initially cede control to Medli, who can use her harp to reflect light, or later he can do so himself with the Mirror Shield.

There is also an elephant statue on floor 30 of the Savage Labyrinth, which Link must also destroy using light reflected by the Mirror Shield if he chooses to continue.

"It stands quietly in the sanctum. It is blue in color, with large tusks and a long nose."

Zelda must find an Elephant Statue in the Gerudo Sanctum to learn the Elephant Statue Echo, one of the statue echoes required to access the Big Key room.
